We were going through a process of evaluting new technologies to use to design our game since 2 major ones came out on the market during the summer of 2010. We have decided to use HeroEngine mainly because it allows for much rapid development because the tools and even the programming language can all be done online without restarting any services. We can literally be in testing scripts and content live together along with testers in playing at the same time. There are some other details that will be forthcoming as we get further ahead, but for the time being we have finally settled and development is full steam ahead.
Welcome once again to our redesigned website. We have another design in the works for later on that is highly customized, but this will do till that is ready and this theme is much lighter and faster than the one before. We are no longer doing game account management from this website for the time being so it will be only for the forums/wikis. The forum is now an embedded one so it doesn't have to use iframes.

Well I technically missed this by 1 day, but here is your end of August Update.
Things are moving along pretty fluidly now, we have a lot of the data stuff done and we are moving on to getting the systems up and running. This is mostly getting a lot of the systems that are part of the reference working and then we start to modify them to our needs. Character Selection is for the most part done (nice visualization and camera work there) and Character Creation is just about done, but will need more work once we get our Repop routines in place. Some simple area work is being done (terrain/props/etc) and will most likely start to get around to actually building out some zones hopefully later in the month.
There will be a handful of changes as things move forward I am sure from some ideas we have gotten in the past few months and the technology shift we have made. Still a lot of things to be done, but hopefully more information coming soon along with some screenshots. Need to get some work done on the GUI first before we can really start posting some things, but August (particularly the last 2 weeks) has been very productive.

Haven't had much of an update as we haven't had a lot to show as of yet. A lot of behind the scenes work to get a lot of stuff working and of course the learning that goes on. Should hear some more out of us during August and definately more in September as we have more to show, but for the time being things will probably be quiet for another 6-8 weeks. Keep checking back for more information and some planned changes we have. Thanks.
